That's Some Criteria

Really? [Read]

So, if we're to believe that armed right-wing extremists are the threat they're made out to be, there will be nothing allowed that advances citizen disarmament? Because if we believe what they're telling us, that could "incite or provoke violence"?

See, when you rule, you don't need to be consistent.

Well, "on balance" ;), it could be argued that the rule change came about because the poster has already "incited" violence. I watched a video just last week where Egyptian-American columnist and CNN/MSNBC Pundit Mona Eltahawy was arrested after defacing an anti-Muslim ad in the New York subway system. The video shows her spraying pink paint on the ad while a supporter of the ad tries to block her. (Copy and paste this tinyURL link I made to read the whole article and/or watch the video http://tinyurl.com/Eltawy)

Perhaps that is why they made the rule change. Of course such a response would play directly in the hands of Muslim groups in this country which are trying to outlaw any speech that could incite violence. The way I see it, the Rug Hugging Muzzies are threatening us with the same sort of violent, no-holds-barred, free-for-all demonstrations of which they are justifiably infamous overseas. To me that's kinda like a kid threatening to throw YET ANOTHER tantrum if he doesn't get his way. Paddling his ass and sticking him in a corner eventually convinces a small child to change his ways, I figure it just might work with Muzzies here. Worth a try anyhow. No I'm not advocating corporal punishment for adults. Some riot gas (tear agents and emetics?) and water cannons followed by incarceration in a Sheriff Joe style tent city type jail could prove useful, though.
