This is another reason to push for Constitutional Carry in Florida like Vermont and several states.

It appears that Ms. Bondi presumes guilt. Shame on her. Presumption of innocence is a cornerstone of our legal system. Constitutional Carry would resolve this problem at the lowest cost to the citizens of Florida. Misuse of weapons to threaten others with bodily harm would continue to be a criminal offense. The weapon is an inanimate object. The threat is posed by the wielder of the weapon. If the person truly meant harm, many other legally possessed objects such as shoes could easily be used.

It is time for government to stop misusing our money.
