Sounds of Silence

Proponents say there's no reason to ban the devices that screw onto the muzzle of a firearm to catch the blast and muffle the sound of a shot. Not only do they prevent hearing damage, supporters say, they also reduce noise pollution. [More]

Silencers are already legal in Wyoming, you just can't use them to hunt with. This proposed bill is just to allow them for hunting because that's all that's illegal in Wyoming.

We have the same problem here in North Carolina. Hopefully we can do something about that.

The _only_ reason for any of these "laws" is control. NONE of it has anything whatsoever to do with safety or anything else.
