You make three fundamental miscalculations:
  • You presume that most people being polled know what they're talking about.
  • You presume you know what you're talking about.
  • You presume, in your ignorance to be the arbiter of what's extreme.
Actually, four. You assume we give a crap what you think, and that it will have any bearing on the truism that the Second Amendment ultimately means what serious men with guns say it does.

You noticed, no doubt, that there was no attempt to include in all the variables the study supposedly tried to account for, of legal vs. illegal possession....other methodological flaws are pointed by another reader in the journal...
