No "Buts" About It

We just saw some big "but" excuse-making from a double-talking Oath Weaseler.  Here's a sheriff who does a much better job, and unlike some who just pledge not to enforce federal laws, this guy promises to not "stand idly by," kind of like his colleagues up in Utah.

This is heartening, and I'm glad to be a resident of a county guarded by one of the Utah sheriffs you mentioned. However, remember two things: one, these are the same sheriffs that have been taking federal dollars for the "war on drugs" for years; and two, when the federal agents come, they'll have shot my dog, illegally confiscated whatever they want, and left the area before the sheriff has a chance to respond. The TSA certainly hasn't had a problem finding sufficient oath-breaking twerps to staff its ranks; I'm grateful for military and LEO folks who take their oaths seriously, but we aren't struggling to find people that will ignore the Constitution in order to collect a check.
