Yeah, it's how a lot of "fishing expeditions" get started.
Why stop there?
Mental health evaluations required before:
-Registering to vote (updated annually)
-Serving on a jury
-Running for any political office or serving any government function (updated annually)
-Reception of any government funds
I have hit the "enter" key too soon, leaving off mandatory mental health evaluations for those who would take advantage of their 1st Amendment rights. We do not want any more kooky religions (defined as all others but mine). We do not want to risk the equivalent of hearing "fire" in a crowded theater by those in the media, or their rantings and ravings (defined as any opinion that differs from mine). Gotta be proactive, not reactive, dontcha know. Works for the likes of Joe Biden. Works for me, too. After all, I just want to feel safe, and implementing anything that you find ornerous justifies that because my needs take precedent over yours.

Lets see ......... the test for officers is a test to be an officer , not own a gun or use it .
The 2A does not require a test since it is a right , unlike applying for the job of peace officer.

Home inspections for guns? Umm , no . How or where a person keeps their weapon is no ones concern but that individual . Perhaps I can inspect HER house to be sure all sharp knives , blunt instruments etc are properly secure and away from children . You know , like a knife and bat safe .
