I suppose they could let some of "those people" caddy for them, but they're sure as hell not going to invite them to play...

Based on personal experience with the R party in the 3rd largest county in the nation; libertarians are despised and dismissed as the party of drugs and whores. Of course the dismissive wags practice a tyranny of their own theology and demand absolute obeisance.
I became involved as a precinct chairman and activist in a vain attempt to bring more liberty oriented folks to the R party; to reform it from the inside.
I am a failure; the R party's future is in the elephant graveyard.

I concur; furthermore, their ghastly theology is one Torture-Centered.

Jefferson said of them in his day, "many who think themselves Christians" are rather worshipers of "demonism."

That still holds true today.
