Original Intent

This is one of the best rebuttals I've seen to some of the national government worshipers out there (including some who represent themselves as being "conservatives") who would have us believe no one is qualified to say what the Constitution means but a magical majority of politically-approved judges. That was a good video! I said something similar, but less scholarly, in a recent column.
One thing that escapes even those who realize that the Supreme Courtjesters don't have the final say on the Constitution is that where Natural Law and the Constitution clash, Natural Law wins every single time. Even if the Constitution authorizes something that is a violation of Natural Law- such as "taxation"- it can't make that thing OK. Terribly sorry if that means the statists can't have the government they want, but truth is truth.
