I've thought long and hard about that. I would think my first priority would be to get my family out of harms way if at all possible. If the situation seemed to be just a typical grab and dash (albeit I would be the first to admit I'm not exactly sure what would constitute a "typical" grab and dash), I would probably not draw. If the situation seemed to be escalating, or if me or my family seemed to be in imminent danger, I would probably act.

It's easy to say what you would do on a message board, it's hard pondering what one would do under that kind of stress. Bottom line is I don't think I would be too keen on getting into a lethal shooting match unless I really had good reason to believe that my family or myself was about to be harmed.
