I am delighted to see Senator Bill Nelson (D) of Florida among the Gang of 46, as expected. This is the same Senator Nelson who wrote to me stating that he could not vote for the Respecting States' Rights and Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, S. 2213, as the bill would not honor states' rights. I wrote back that he should be more concerned for the individual rights of citizens as enumerated in the U.S. Constitution, which appeared to be applied differently among the several states.
