If she didn't know the difference between a real gun and a toy at age 11, then her father was not a "nut" about gun safety. It also makes you wonder if she weren't a little slow/ I certainly would have known when I was in the sixth grade. I don't think there were any of my classmates that wouldn't have. I remember being 11 very well. David Farragut was in command of a captured British man of War at age 12. Was he some kind of freak of nature, or are people of that age grossly underestimate now?
