Neighborhood council hoplophobia hampers gun safety efforts

That the school says “The pistol course has been offered since 2008 and is popular with the community,” and that “This class has filled with waiting lists, or been near full since we began offering it” does not factor into Silverstein's and his fellow official hoplophobes’ self-induced case of the vapors. That the neighborhood busybodies don’t want it trumps the fact that other people do, and that it’s none of their damn business doesn’t stop them from trying to derail rational behavior by those who don't share their Orwellian "Ignorance is Strength" delusions.
