"An Honest Mistake"

AARRGGHHH! [More]

I don't care about the excuses. This negligence, particularly by this person, is inexcusable.

Texas, huh?

I say she deserves the same treatment as Juan Hinojosa.

It's horrible that carrying a gun in your carry-on luggage, or better, on your person, is not expected, government-supported behavior for 90% of the population. Instead, you risk imprisonment. Hopefully, the grand jury for this case will agree that it was the kind of mistake that anyone could easily make, and for which nobody should be penalized.

She's probably just used to not getting caught. Most folks aren't caught. I've known several (to remain nameless) people that were surprised to find their "briefcase gun" still in their carry on laptop bag when they arrived at their destination. They forgot it was there (not good.) And TSA didn't find it. (Fine by me)

For a minute there I though there was something very dangerous in the carry-on, like a too large tube of toothpaste.
