Ok -so the flip side means anyone harmed in a "no-guns-allowed" zone actually have a claim against the liability carrier.

I bet there's a lot of victims, and survivors of victims, who didn't understand who had, and has, the liability.

Now that the insurance wonks have established this fact, it may get a bit interesting for them. If they claim they are liable for any harm due to a legally armed citizen on the premises, they're likewise legally liable for any harm that befalls disarmed individuals.

I hope the victims in Aurora still have time to rope the insurance companies into any potential litigation.
