Occam's Razor

If a power is not listed, then the federal government does NOT have that power. [More]
At least not lawfully and morally.  But practically, they have whatever power over us we allow them to assume.

Security for the Mackinac Bridge Walk is particularly ridiculous. While they illegally search the bags and baby strollers of the thousands of participants on one side of the bridge, people in the opposing lanes of vehicular traffic on the other side of the bridge are driving 2-, 3-, and 4-ton "potential weapons." The only thing to keep one driver from "terrorizing" all the walkers, is a slight bump in the center of the bridge and some orange cones.

How stupid are these "security" people?
