Target: Men

The Selling of Attention Deficit Disorder [More]
"I wonder if overdiagnosis of ADD and unnecessary use or abuse of these drugs are non-spurious causative factors for shootings?" colleague RH asks.

"And how the 'progressive' public educational establishment is a driving force behind the War on Boys," I offer in return.

As an RN (BSN RN, UNC) I have several suspicions about these drug prescriptions.

One, they add untold numbers of men to the ranks of "yes, I've been on prescribed psychotropic medication" which could be used to prohibit purchase of firearms at some future date, if it isn't already being use for that.

Second, these drugs set up unavoidable events, they predispose the man in his mid-teens to homicidal/suicidal ideation, a disastrous path.

I do not think this an accident because this side effects were well documented years ago.
