We're the Only Ones Justifiable Enough

The object here is not to second-guess the cop.  The object here is to ask what the outcome would be if the shooter were a private citizen. [More]

Yeah, I know, we;re told WE are never supposed to pursue. We're supposed to call it in and leave that to the "Only Ones."

What if he'd just hurt or killed someone you loved and you could stop him.  Would you let him get away?

Hell no I wouldn't let him get away if the crime had been committed against me or a member of my family. The crime wasn't committed against this cop.

This cop shot a fleeing man who was in the process of disarming himself.

What type of person does that describe? What type of person would give unconditional support to a peer who displayed this behavior?
