Say, why don't we do something similar with guns...?
I'm wondering if it would be possible to fry whatever apparatus sends out a blocking signal ... without having to physically take it, although perhaps that will be the only choice left.

Wow, I'll bet that the Aurora theater shooter would have loved cell phones to be disabled so no one could call for help!
