Get Thee to a Nunnery

8. Nunn will tout a group of gun-owning supporters “in September or October” [More]
Great, talk about a situation rich in target opportunities!  I can't wait to shine a light on these kapo/Quislings!

Oh, and look what goes hand-in-hand with being anti-gun. Long-term strategy, you know...

Gosh, when are these folks going to get it?  Assuming they already do, what could their reasons be for ignoring it -- besides their wholly unbelievable "single issue" cop-out?

I used to live in Georgia. There was no end of gun owners who supported her gun-banning daddy (because he had so much Senate seniority and power... and ignored what he did with that power). There will be plenty of gun owners who'll support her on name recognition alone.

The real RKBA folk down there need all the help they can get.

I used to live in Georgia, too. But keep in mind that the days of the gun owners voting for Nunn were back when most white southern men still voted with the Dems, and that has done a total 180. It is also back in the days when the NRA was the only source of info on guns, but now all sorts of groups like the GOA have exploded in popularity. Social media, blogs, sites like this one, etc all reach audiences directly or indirectly that they would not back even in the 90s or early 2000s.

As people like Steve Sailer have documented, the reason the South is so solidly red even in states like MS and GA with huge minority populations is because the whites vote 70 or 80 percent or more for the GOP. This was not the case in the 90s, and a lot of that shift that came about was because of the Clinton gun ban in 94. Politicians were able to hide behind that nonsense back in those days, but the internet has made it a lot harder.
