Dereliction of Duty

My usual "progressives" and Opposite Day remark seems wholly inadequate in this case. [More]

This is the precursor to a whole 'nother level of misery and totalitarianism.  This creature is the domestic enemy the Founders warned us against.

It's worse than you think, folks. I believe Gutierrez is also a Chicago police officer.

I think I've also seen his name in the paper for other than legislative reasons.

Gutierrez is at worst a loon, or possibly just inarticulate (how'd he get elected then...) But my question is this:

Why would anyone who cares about liberty trust the politicians who want to disarm us all... to do anything rational about the borders or the immigrants?

When this, or any other communist, says that to do something would be a dereliction of his duty, he means his duty to the communist cause. He's not speaking of his duty to this nation.
