To Reach the Unreachable Star

This reminds me of a story I heard long ago about a polling place back when civil rights were trying to be enforced, and  black citizens showed up wanting to vote.  The sheriff had a jar of beans and said they had to guess how many were in it. [More]

One of the big problems with provincial tyrants getting away with this crap is they incur no personal liability. That is, until someone snaps, but they often take it out on the wrong people.

If we had a true Justice Department,  Cathy Lanier would be behind bars.
