This Should End Well

I don't suppose the irony of "illegal officers of the court" strikes anyone...? [More]

Survey SAYS

They lost me at "most voters." [More]

That's due in no small part to most voters not knowing what the hell an "assault weapon" is, thanks to a lying media that won't even correct their "mistakes" when told about them.

Sympathy for the Devil

Vanderboegh has none. [More]

Is still believe this is the most under-reported development facing gun owners in the coming year, at least as far as things we have knowledge of are concerned.  The state groups are stressed to the limit as is. The way we beat Bloomberg et al is via grassroots, and that means the state groups need every gun owner to carry his or her share of the load.

FFL Guard Newsletter

The January issue is out. [More]

I've written before about my regulated industry procedures/audit background and why I think their services are important. If you're an FFL, I believe you owe it to yourself to find out more. If you're not, but you know some, and we all do, I believe you'll be doing them a favor by passing this on to them.

EXCLUSIVE: The Unconstitutional State

If CCDL had 10, 20, 100 times the committed membership, might the new laws have been stopped in their tracks? [More]
My latest GUNS Magazine "Rights Watch" column is now online.

I Have a Better Idea

Let's throw out the professor.  [More]

This is the same guy who wrote "The Embarrassing Second Amendment" several years back, where he clearly grokked it's an individual right.  Maybe that's why he wants to redo the charter, as if that would have anything to do with the right.

Speakling of Cretins and Creeps

And to prove something or other, gun-fondling blogger Mike Vanderboegh, the guy who whipped “Fast and Furious” into a national issue... [More

Ha Ha! We're snarky progressives!  How clever we are! Hundreds of dead Mexicans and a murdered Border Patrol agent, and we ridicule the guy who "whipped" that up!

And look who we admire instead.

Old Bloody Hands himself!

Man of the Year

It was the House Oversight Committee’s investigation of Operation Fast and Furious after the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December 2010 that brought the details of this bizarre Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms program to light... [More]
Oh, it was not either.  They pretty much had to be publicly dragged into it, along with everybody else.

So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish

Magpul is making good on its pledge. [More]

As I've said before, I don't think it's just companies we should hold to the standard of not giving aid and comfort to those who would disarm us.

"The Iraqis, Their Weapons And Gun Control"

Herschel's son Daniel gives a firsthand account that further shows Robert Bateman ain't anywhere near as good at his job as he brags he is. [More]

A Core Consituency

No wonder they're so big on "gun control." [More]

Finally, a movie dedicated to the anti-communist armed resistance in Romania [More]

And here it is with English subtitles.

Whatever You Say, Hanna

What a stunted and provincial world she lives in. [More]

In a way, she can't help it. She's obviously never met any men.

Mistakes were Made

[A]n official with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives confirmed via e-mail to Examiner that the agency “has accepted responsibility for the mistakes made” in that investigation. [More]
How?

Have they accepted responsibility for all the deaths?

And what about for all the intentional actions that were not mistakes?

UPDATE:  Anthony Martin goes into this in depth.

NOT an Only One

Connecticut State Trooper on Gun Law: “I will not register my AR-15. Governor Malloy is a joke!” [More]
Nor will he help enforce it.

WAR IS PEACE, FREEDOM IS SLAVERY, IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH

...and banning guns does not infringe... [More]

They Ban Horses, Don't They?

I wonder how much of an investment one of these horse cabs is, what it costs to buy, train, feed, house and insure the animals and maintain the rigs, what the city's take in annual licensing fees is, and what the people who have invested their lives in this are supposed to do now. I wonder how many of the horses will become dog food as soon as this is enacted. [More]

What I don't wonder about are the fascist animal Nazis behind this. Nor do I wonder that DeBlasio is one of them.

What an indicator of things to come.  Right out of the starting gate, he has to let everyone know who is holding the reins that pull the bit between their teeth with one hand, while holding a whip in the other.

His subjects have exactly the government they deserve.

As do most of the people where you and I live.

Connecticut Update

I've had it confirmed that the DESPP has a bulletin board where they allow business cards and ads to be posted, adding to the problematic nature of the cease and desist order.

I also can't help but notice this comment:

There was absolutely nothing to indicate Mr. Benedetto was being disruptive or distracting to people processing registrations inside the building by handing out cards to people waiting outside the building for their turn to interact.  On the other hand, evidence for the type of world iron-fisted national socialist "progressives" have in mind for everyone is overwhelming.
