Call of the Sphinx

Except in this case, there will be no "All clear."  The trusting, childlike Eloi victims are all trapped inside, and it looks like there's no one from a more rational time to save them from the evil Morlocks.

This Should End Well

Be something if one of them commits a crime with a Fast and Furious weapon... [More]

Knockout Game

Tonight on ATSNtv's "Stop the Threat"... [Details]

Coming Soon, to a State House Near Hartford

I'll have more on this as the date approaches.

This Gun for Hire

Word spread through the Capitol this week that Kotek started working on language benefiting Family Care after a visit from Paul Phillips, a former lawmaker and longtime lobbyist who represents the health organization.[More]
The health organization headed by the "big democratic donor"...

He also represents a group donating big bucks to make sure this guy stays in power.

So what's with the Safari Club connection?  Fudds for Facists?

And Oregon Gun Owners? (Not to be confused with Oregon Firearms Federation, which warned "They endorsed Floyd Prozanski and Peter Courtney, two of the most anti-gun politicians in the state, and they sent their lobbyist, Paul Phillips to testify in FAVOR of more gun control in the February 'special' session.")

I've also been told of a connection with another group but need a link to validate before mentioning their name.

UPDATE: It's NSSF. Third entry on Oregon Lobby List register pdf file page 22 of 29.

A 10-Point Plan

Thing is, he's picking up a baton passed by his predecessor and with no small number of "establishment" RINOs clearing his way... [More]

We're the Only Ones Blundering Enough

The Euharlee, Georgia police officer who shot and killed a teenager because she wrongly thought he was holding a gun had made a similar mistake in the past, and was fired from her previous job as a police officer as part of long history of blunders and poor job performance. [More]
The superiority of trained professionals continues to amaze...

Go Ahead, Publish The Damn Names

If these New York gun owners are still that uninvolved that they haven't informed themselves and then taken steps to protect themselves, I can't get too worked up worrying about them. [More]

That doesn't make the judge right or the Journal News ethical.

Captain's Log

Notes and "smart guns"...

Symbolic

The old Hestonioan flintlock... [More]*

I guess that's supposed to make us forget the "prince" supports this.

And the crowd went wild.

* I'm told it's a Civil War percussion cap long gun.

We're the Only Ones Justifiable Enough

The object here is not to second-guess the cop.  The object here is to ask what the outcome would be if the shooter were a private citizen. [More]

Yeah, I know, we;re told WE are never supposed to pursue. We're supposed to call it in and leave that to the "Only Ones."

What if he'd just hurt or killed someone you loved and you could stop him.  Would you let him get away?

The Monster Mash

They walk among us. [More]

And they're a hell of a lot scarier and deadlier than these guys.

If You Don't Want to Be Raped, You Shouldn't Dress that Way

How very "progressive." [More]

The "Show Me" State

Are you serious?  [More]

Talk about "woeful ignorance."

Kurt covers the ongoing Oak Tree/"smart gun" saga. [More]
