Violent ‘antiviolence activists’ demonstrate ‘progressive’ Opposite Day truism

We see it every time an “anti-violence” advocate demands a state monopoly of – you guessed it – violence. [More]
My latest JPFO Alert notes that "progressive" has become a self-contradicting term. So guess what "anti-violence" activists are really demanding...?

Blowing it Open

She blew it open, She actually discovered that this had gone awry... [See video]
Sorry, but that's not correct.

See for yourself all that had been blown open and discovered before she entered the picture.  It's all documented and verifiable, and has been since the beginning.

So is this.

That's not to take anything away from outstanding investigative reporting. I have nothing but the greatest admiration for making this happen on network news. Vital and original information was uncovered and exposed, and without it, chances are it would have forever remained in the obscure province of disgruntled #justabloggers. But let's get the chronology straight, as well as who did what.

Ah well, I suppose I ought to be used to it by now. It's just that even fricking Wikipedia refuses to mention any of this in their "history," and not for lack of people making corrective entries. Those keep getting edited out. That makes Mike and me ideological "unpersons," written completely out of the narrative, and only those doing the editing could tell us their motives--if you could figure out who they are.

So why should we expect anything less from corporate media?

Maybe I ought to give Gottlieb his plaque back.

Oh, and one more thing, Laura: It wasn't a "sting."  Not unless you believe in Underpants Gnomes.

It gets old. And it's so unnecessary.

UPDATE: They can't say they/their staffs haven't been given verifiable information:

Lawsuit challenges federal machine gun ban

“By imposing such a ban on an entire class of weapons, the statutes and regulations exceed the power of the United States,” the complaint states. It makes its case by citing violations of Article I of the United States Constitution, the Second, Ninth and Tenth Amendments, and “principles of federalism and dual sovereignty. [More
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes a challenge that, in a rational world, would not even be necessary, let alone controversial.

Talk About Paranoids

Metroprozis try some Alinsky Rule 5 snark targeted at supposed fear-mongering, here and here.

That's pretty funny, considering these pussies are afraid of guns.

"Progressives" and Opposite Day.

Thing is, I don't want these... these things -- or their fanboy base -- to get a clue.  The way they're pushing things, it's not beyond the realm of possibilities that where they live is going to need all the cannibal food that can be scrounged up.

I remember tattletale kids from grade school. But even those little weasels would tell on you out in the open, and in front of everyone.

From ATSNtv:
You go to bed early. Suddenly you awake to the sound of broken glass. You are in denial as you leave your bed and walk to the door where an intruder awaits with a plan that will end in one man's death.

Darren Wilson Expected to be ‘Eased Out’ of Police Department [More]
Oh no, you're not getting off that easy.  The lynch mob has full blood lust fever, and they demand a guilty verdict. And after that, the blade.

I wish I knew who that stupid, evil c*** holding the sign is.  She'd fit right in with a French Revolution. That is a hive insect who has no place among men and women of reason and honor.

This is what we can expect from the fruits of "progressivism."  That's some progress.

Who thinks "it" can never happen here?  It's happening.

Malloy v Visconti

Of significance:

Visonti @4:27 -- "If they wanted to do something, they could have looked at the 30-round magazine that Adam Lanza used, and just targeted that."

Also throughout, plenty of calls for "Only Ones" in schools... I thought those are what we call "Gun-Free Zones."

Malloy @6:17 -- "I made a solemn oath."

Yes, you did.

Malloy @6:22 -- "The reality of large capacity magazines is they do allow a madman, or a disturbed individual, or someone with malice, or for that matter, someone who wants to fight against the federal government for whatever reason..."

Tiger Talkers

The only thing more ridiculous are the chest-thumpers who say they want to "get it on" now before they grow too old for the fight. Really? Are they ready for a civil war? Have they made all the preparations they need to? Have they trained, networked, worked the intelligence problem, or any of a million things necessary to prepare for such an eventuality? Do they even understand what that means, what the human cost would be? Recently, I walked with Bob Wright through the national cemetery at Shiloh battlefield park in Tennessee. We talked about what he called "the tiger talkers" and how he wished that he could drag all of them through the cemetery to get some idea of the reality of civil war, of the cost in blood and tears and irretrievable human potential. Not to mention the inconvenience!

No matter, People who won't send an email, forward a link or even install Adblock will endure indeterminately-extended real world hardships and sacrifices to save us!

And they'll do it smugly, too, with an air of amused Que sera, sera superiority, although I would be curious to know what practical and moral leadership such people have shown at averting literal hell on earth, up close and personal. Cede the entire political arena to those who would rule all, without lifting a finger? Ingenious!

This Day in History: October 31

It will be in his power to supply most of the articles excepting the blankets—I have directed him to report immediately if he has not the blankets— and has no means of procuring them. I shall solicit Mr Morris in the most pointed terms to supply them as an article indispensably requisite—since without them the army will be reduced to extreme distress—and the consequence may and probably will prove fatal to many of the soldiers during the winter.
