There is truth and there is legal truth. Witness the bs re people prosecuted for 'gun crimes'.
When you can be arrested for “obstruction” or “interfering” for standing in your own front yard watching police conduct a traffic stop across the street, or for “disorderly conduct” when legally carrying a firearm on your belt, or “assault on a police officer” and “resisting arrest” when refusing to allow officers without a warrant to enter your home, or a host of other facetious bendings of the law…more power to him.
It used to be said that “ignorance of the law is no excuse”. Today, we’re each subject to something on the order of 200,000 laws from local up to the federal level. It is simply not possible any longer for us to know any specific law that we may be violating…and the cops are even more ignorant than we are (or so they argue when arresting us for behavior that is not illegal).
Under those circumstances, it’s kind of reassuring to know that people like Mr. Archie are around to help out when it’s needed.
