A Numbers Game

From friend Laocoön in response to the latest impotent/phony Numbers USA email appeal to "Fax your Representative about Congress protecting Pres. Obama's unconstitutional amnesties":
NumbersUSA, FAIR, CAPS:
Congratulations on this key victory toward your apparent goal of losing the USA. As you know, your strategy is designed to lose. You must like losing, which is a good thing because you'll be getting a lot more of it. Kudos on having your members calling the likes of DiFi, Boxer and Waxman -- F rated, committed enemies in safe districts who are smart enough to know that amnesty gives them a permanent hegemony -- instead of focusing on shoring up the potential swing votes (i.e., mainly the 75 Republicans who betrayed Party, oath, constitution, country, fellow citizens). Kudos on not bothering to forward to key legislators GOA's announcement that it was going to begin grading amnesty as an indirect gun rights issue. Otherwise Republicans, and Dems in conservative districts, might have thought twice about crossing us. And of course, Kudos on dropping the ball on election organization, so they know you're a one-legged paper tiger and can safely treat us like chumps.
Now I'm going to tweet it to them, because he's been telling them this for a long time, they've been ignoring it, and we are where we are. If all a group produces is failure, who needs 'em? It's not like they're not capable of being smart, so the question needs to be asked:  Who does it serve to be dumb?
