I hear a lot of noise.
I've been though it with the guy up close and personal. I've seen the toll he pays.
If we win this thing, Mike will be remembered as a Patriot.
That doesn't mean we're joined at the hip or I think he's infallible or anything else. But then, if you actually knew him, as opposed to just reading snippets without complete context, or believing what others say of him, you'd never leap to either of those illusions.
You who would call him "Red Mike" or wish him dead from cancer agonizingly eating him from the inside, you might as well include me in your daily Two Minutes Hate, or however long you want to devote to it.
Gosh, and to think when I started out, getting everyone to like me was such a priority...

I watched the whole debacle from beginning to the present.
I have some understanding of what Mike has been going through, and what he has had to overcome while maintaining his fight for the rights of us all.
I have seen the incredible hatred and wondered... then realized that such comes only from the Enemy, who works through the flawed nature of ordinary men.
