BREAKING: LAX AZ GUN LAWS RESPONSIBLE FOR FREEWAY SHOOTINGS!

Phoenix Freeway Shootings: Amid Manhunt, Arizona Gun Laws Are Among The Country's Most Lenient [More]
You know, that's been bugging me ever since this story broke -- what the hell is wrong with Arizona that it has no laws against shooting random people driving cars on freeways? Obviously, the blood-on-its-hands "gun lobby" is running interference for manufacturer profits again!

Don't let the gun-humping ammosexuals make you feel unsafe! Write YOUR congressman and demand that we Close the Freeway Sniper Loophole!  Do it for the children.

Nice catch there, "reporter" Adam Lidgett! Keep this up and you're gonna go far.

I couldn't get into the IBT Comments Section, but I hope that someone mentioned the errors in the reports 'factual' assertions, which stated that Arizona prohibits rifles with a barrel LONGER than 18 inches, and shotguns with a barrel LONGER than 16 inches.

Certainly the author of the article is clueless on the political and constitutional factors of the issue, but one would hope that he could find someone to correct him on the conditions of gun-control laws!

He apparently didn't even try to get some competent person to fact-check his article.

Good news: by this (perhaps inadvertent) combination of errors, readers can see that he is obviously fact-challenged and not a reliable source of information.

Bad news: most of the people who read the article and who are inclined to agree with his opinion (ie: Democrats) are similarly clueless about the actual FACTS about firearms and the law, and so they either would not know that the author made some serious errors in his writing ... or they wouldn't care ... or they know it's total bullshit but don't want undermine the "Message" by cluttering it up with uncomfortable (and irrelevant) "Facts".
