The important thing to remember is they are lies, the withholding of inconvenient facts is intentional, and the reason a lie is being told in the first place is because the person telling it wants to commit as fraud on those he is telling it to.
So naturally, noting the truism that for "progressives," every day is Opposite Day, WaPo's resident Julius Streicher Award candidate, E.J. Dionne, doubles down and accuses anyone of pointing out those disconnects of being a liar.
