When Seconds Count

Good comparison. I suppose using the word "licensed" was a tactical consideration for the masses in order to move the ball toward the Constitutional carry goal.

It's an effective image.

Both events are high-profile enough that people will know them off-hand. Both feature unusually fast police response times. And in the Sandy Hook case, 4 1/2 minutes - brilliantly fast, and less than half the national average of 9 minutes - was still 4 minutes too late.

When seconds count, police are just minutes away.

So my question is: "Would you willingly disarm during your patrols, trusting only to the response times of your fellow officers to keep you out of danger?" If not, why not?
