First off, there's a big difference between not objecting to technology per se and "kinda liking" it, so the whole piece starts with an untruth. The objection is to mandates, which David Axe indicates he's aware of. As for the gizmo itself -- responsible gun owners don't need it. Irresponsible ones won't use it. But I'm not a one size fits all kinda guy-- if you can envision this being helpful for particular situations you find yourself in, go for it. Just don't tell me I'm required to as well, and in all situations, and we'll be fine.
