The Big Easy

By "The Big Easy" I don't mean New Orleans, I mean doing posts where you don't verify what you're spreading and don't correct it when you know better. [More]

That photo was taken in Hungary and first appeared the Sept. 3 Calgary Sun. It took me all of three minutes to find out.

Presenting it under false pretenses gives the enemy ammunition to use to discredit legitimate reporting. I'd love to be able to verify that the effort is sincere but just misguided here, as opposed to a money-making venture.  Now that I have an email I'll invite him to post a comment.
