The Primary Flaw

The primary flaw in the entire Directive is the lack of punishment for any government official(s) who break the law or do not follow the Directive.  [More]
No, that's not "the primary flaw." But things are so screwed up that you're reduced to calling clarification of infringements "a step in the right direction," you're dependent on an advocacy model rendered effectively impotent by a tyranny of the majority, and that model will brook no competition from the "I will not comply" new paradigm. Which means the wheels will keep spinning and the Intolerable Acts will continue.
