The Truth About Ethics

Those who have them don't need to take a goddamn class. [More]

If the judge found evidence of deception, the perps should have been frogmarched out of the courtroom and into a holding cell pending arraignment on charges.

It's systemic and pervasive with these bastards -- remember the "fraud on the court" in the Dobyns case?

The Opposite Day "progressive" Department of Justice is one big cesspool of corrupt sadists who delight in destroying lives like they're pulling wings off flies. It'll take more than an annual class to flush that.

They don't care.

Why do you think they went to work for the DOJ in the first place? Using unlimited power to force people to bend to their will, while remaining wholly immune to responsibility for the damage they cause to people's lives, seems like perfect employment for the psychopath.

I mean, you know... as long as they catch genuine bad guys, you know... some of the time.

After the Leland Yee kerfuffel, California Senate Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg (who is now running for Sacramento Mayor) drug his feet first in cutting off the gun-runners paycheck, then in 'demanding' his resignation. Shortly afterwards, Darrell then required all members of the Senate to take an afternoon-long ethics class. With pay, of course.
