Yes, the U.S. makes sure foreign scumbags get guns, directly and indirectly. Any comparison beyond that is superficial, as the intent of "gunwalking" was quite different.

I don't even know where to begin to try to answer that except to refer you to my "intent of gunwalking' link and then refer you to start reading through my journalists guides (see "Complete Guide" click-through in sidebar). F&F was to salt the mine to enact new disarmament edicts. The Syrian thing is to effect geopolitical change, and the guns did not come from U.S. FFLs.
