Too bad there's really no competitive alternative, because social media is one of the few ways out there for those with non-establishment-approved information to bypass the gatekeepers. I tried a "conservative alternative" and it not only had technical problems, it also didn't have enough people to make it worth the time. Ditto, it's looking like, for MeWe.
