We're the Only Ones Scanning Enough

Here's how it works. If a trooper suspects you may have money tied to some type of crime, the highway patrol can scan any cards you have and seize the money. [More]
Here's how else it works: Like any highway robbers, if you don't do exactly what they say and try to protect yourself and stop them, they'll kill you.

And, of course, no "public/private partnership" economic fascism arrangement would be possible without partners.

#CopsAreScum (and so are those who support them).

This ability amounts to paperless, electronic civil asset forfeiture of money directly out of your bank account if the OK Highway Patrol doesn't like "the way that you're acting".

Un-friggin'-believable.

But... The vast majority are the good guys... you know... I mean, My Uncle Scooter was a cop and he was a good guy... I mean, you know? Cuz, like.... they'll only steal money from bad guys, right? I mean its OK to steal their stuff, right? And they said if you can prove you're not a crook they'll consider giving it back to you.
