It's Like There Are Two Sets of Standards

Facebook leaves this up:


And takes this down for a "community standards" violation?  Even after it receives plenty of attention?

He's on his Facebook page now saying it was all sarcasm and a joke, but then again he also posts one of those red circles with the slash over the word "Hate," so we're obviously dealing with an Opposite Day "progressive," meaning the default is to assume he's lying.

You already know who owns Facebook. His politics were never a secret. You cannot possibly be surprised by any of this.

This sort of thing is why I refuse to touch "social media" with the proverbial three-meter pole. I won't give them the clicks, I won't give them the "eyeballs," and I spend my time in less frustrating pursuits.
