Repent and Recant!

Boys arrested with BB guns ordered to write about Tamir Rice [More]
I had more freedom as a boy in the Shah's Iran than my sons did growing up in the land of the Second Amendment.

You shouldn’t carry a gun because you might get shot for not breaking the law by people who will be breaking the law by shooting you but they are above the law so, tough.

As we now understand, rule of law is for us and rule by law is for them.

Sad. It wasn't unusual for youngsters during my childhood (including myself) to be walking along with a .22 or shotgun without the crazy antics of today . At worst, police might stop to ask what you were carrying . As far as BB guns , we would have BB gun wars or just be out plinking anything that didn't move or get us in trouble .

Heck , it was normal to see rifles/shotguns in gun racks in the schools student parking lot . Never had an issue .
