Elderly Suicide Prevention Gun Scheme another ‘Progressive’ Threat to Due Process

Is it any surprise that Shannon Frattaroli, PhD, associate professor in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, comes up with a resounding “Yes”? Does anyone think Michael Bloomberg would invest over a billion dollars and accept anything less? [More]
Leave it to “progressives” to exploit the choices of the dead in their obsession to control the choices of the living.

Armed American Radio Redux

Here's the archive for Hour Three of last night's Armed American Radio program.  [Listen]

For the first half hour, I was part of a "round table" with host Mark Walters and Washington Free Beacon's Stephen Gutowski, with much of the focus on media credibility the presidential campaigns and social media. The last half hour was Mark and me, remembering Mike Vanderboegh, talking the "pathway to citizenship" threat to that "single issue," and generally having the same kind of conversation we do off air, less the saltier language.

Not a Complete Loss

At least they admitted "Missouri’s current statute outlines a reasonable and prudent process," which, if you think about it, can be exploited in "may issue" locales, especially as a counter to the nauseatingly ubiquitous "commonsense." [More]

Just Following Orders

What is surprising is that the soldiers’ commanders were willing to completely abandon their trust by implementing an aggressive investigation despite the “no questions asked” policy.  [More]
Why is that surprising?  It would have surprised me had they conducted themselves any differently than betraying the trust of those they order into harm's way.

How It Would Go Down

Presuming the wargamers' scenario of everyone gathering in one convenient spot plays out... [More]

Just like in the pacified Middle East!

Will they be surprised when we all march out in infantry squares!

What Are We Waiting For?

I cannot help but to wonder what it is the Oathkeepers are waiting for? Won’t be long and there will be no constitution left to defend. Just sayin’. [More]
What exactly would you have others do?

How would it fit in with the mission statement and the bylaws?

What have you done to rectify things peaceably using the system the Founders put in place? What are you prepared to do should any heed your call to action?

What are you waiting for?

Just sayin'.

The Ayes Have It

It's possible to find researchers who side with the NRA in believing that guns make our society safer, rather than more dangerous. As I've shown, however, they're in the minority. [More]
Well gee then, as long as the majority believes something, we can keep putting those pesky heliocentrists to the torch!

Something in Common

New studies such as one published this summer by the National Institute of Justice show homicides rose in dozens of cities last year, though much of that increase was concentrated in just 10: Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Washington, D.C., Nashville, Tenn., Philadelphia, Kansas City, Mo., and St. Louis. [More]
Aside from all being controlled by Democrats and all being big on "gun control," what else can we come up with to blame this on NRA...?

Establishment Torpedoing Kelli Ward

Grover Norquist Endorses Senator John McCain [More]
Well gee, there's a surprise.

Good thing none of this has anything to do with that "single issue."

And yeah, I know Trump did too, and think that calculated political decision sucked. It, along with further disappointments, will douse the fire in a lot of bellies.

Looks like they're doing to Ward what they did to Nehlen. After being shocked by Brat ousting Cantor, they're not taking any chances at giving the base what it wants.

The only question: Do enough Americans care to actually do something about it?

Sins of Omission

[T]he Times kept its readers in the dark. [More]
Aw go on!

Most don't remember their lame excuse for a similar blackout on Fast and Furious: because it wasn't their scoop. Curious though, how when it came time to run interference for the administration and try and derail, deflect and redirect, they were Johnny on the spot.

My, how things haven't changed.

An Opposite Day 'Progressive' Feminist

Hillary Clinton's top aide Huma Abedin worked at a radical Muslim publication that opposed women's rights and blamed the US for 9/11, it has been revealed. [More]
One question: With all those media resources and "reporters" that have been tasked with covering Hillary for decades, why are we just finding out about this now?

Funny -- still nothing about this on NBC News, CBS News, ABC News, CNN, MSNBC...

Ditto for "the paper of record."  Feel free to check the others, but let me know if you'd like to bet first.

That's probably because there's nothing to see here -- she was just a figurehead. A Clinton campaign spokesflack said it, I believe it, that settles it.

Man, I hate it when publications incorrectly list me on their mastheads as an editor, don't you?

Pathway to Conquest

Sunni extremists are infiltrating the United States with the help of alien smugglers in South America and are crossing U.S. borders with ease, according to a U.S. South Command intelligence report. [More]
Thank goodness this has nothing to do with that "single issue"!

So when they pull a Beslan-style massacre, no one will be screaming about blood being on NRA's hands?

What's So Wrong about Being Right?

The leader of the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has spoken out in favor of people arming themselves with guns and self-defense devices following a series of violent attacks last month. [More]
Who but the evil, the ignorant and the stupid would disagree?

Rigorous!

Curious, how the same people forcing cultural terrafroming on us also want our guns...

But That's Bigamy!

Yes, and it's big o' me, too! [More]

There's a Difference Between 'Conservative' and 'Conservationist'

I don't think "conservatives" are split at all on the national government only assuming those powers authorized by the Constitution. [More]

The split comes from those with interests they allow to supersede that.

It's Good to Be the King!

Malia, 18, was hurried out of the rowdy bash by Secret Service right before police arrived. [More]
