The Unbearable Lightness of Being Caroline Redux

When last we left her, Caroline Light was working as a Bloomberg propagandist trying to make the case for dead women being superior to armed ones.

This time out, her thesis is that "stand your ground" is racist. By way of corroboration, she offers the anecdote of Marissa Alexander, conveniently leaving out that Alexander was not under attack when she left her house, went to her garage, retrieved a gun from her vehicle’s glove box and returned to the house to point the gun “in the direction” of her alleged abuser who had his hands in the air, and then fired a shot.

Curious: For all her phony outrage, Caroline is the one who doesn't want Marissa to get her full and equal rights back, whereas this beneficiary of "white privilege" thinks if she can be trusted without a custodian, she can be trusted with a gun.
