vs.
Police arrested the driver immediately and after an initial interrogation ruled out any potential terrorist motives. [More]
Maybe it wasn't. At least they investigated before announcing conclusions.

  1. Ever get the impression that our ruling class consists of a bunch of shitheads who will say whatever is convenient for them?
My impression is that the guy was minding his own business when he was attacked by Antifa and that he was just trying to get out of there, but our Lords and Masters want a terrorist to demonize, so they call his attempt to save his life by escaping his attackers, "terrorism".
Antifa is functioning as government's active, aggressive, irregular shock troops in the street, with the support of uniformed government agents in the street less actively backing them up. Antifa is doing the violence in the streets that the .gov doesn't want to get caught doing, but supports. AG Sessions and Congress need to investigate Governor McAuliffe's reckless behavior.
