Is the Pope Catholic?

So there's a heretic in the Vatican...? [More]

Pity. I used to love him in those old movies where he teamed up with Donald O'Connor.

I look at the totality of this guy since he put on the beanie and can't help but think of Epheisans 6:12.

If one follows Ann Barnhardt, she has, along with many other folks, some pretty good and reasonable arguments for him not only not practicing Catholicism, but not even being the Pope. A recent poll she quotes on her Sept. 18th post indicates that the people polled consider Benedict XVI the Pope rather than Bergolio by 76% - 16%. You can't fool all of the people all of the time.

It has to do with Benedict XVI being "pressured" (threatened, more likely) to make excuses why he had to 'split' the position into a ministerial function and a contemplative one. Can't happen, and Canon 188 of Church law applies. Of course one can see from the things Bergolio does and says that the man isn't even qualified to call himself Catholic, much less be the Pope. Your scripture quote is most appropriate.
