There was an incident in Cleveland about a year ago when some lunatic beat up a priest. The "solution" at the local churches (with the "No Guns" stickers on the entrance doors) was to station an armed "Only One" at services for a few weeks. So it's not like they're consistent in their "not of this world" applications.
