The Media/RINO Alliance

“Even with Sen. Flake announcing his retirement and the whirlwind of media attention around Steve Bannon’s endorsement and visit, Kelli Ward has not seen any improvement in her support,” said Chuck Coughlin, a longtime Republican strategist whose HighGround Public Affairs conducted the independent poll released Tuesday. “The numbers continue to show that Ward is a flawed General Election candidate, and her nomination would likely result in a loss of the seat for Republicans.” [More]
It would seem "Metro reporter" Laurie Roberts is invested in Alinsky Rule 5 attacks on Ward. That and being a gun grab apparatchik.

And speaking of taking the high ground, it would appear that -- if you listen to them -- what Arizonans clamor most for on immigration is "dialogue" and "increased economic development."

All the pollsters were surprised in November, too. Including Highground, which just a few weeks earlier figured showed Hillary in the lead.

The intent, as we can see from the last post, is to continuously bombard those who want their country back with messages of political defeatism. It's no different in principle than the "pragmatic" gun "leaders" saying we have to throw bump stocks under the bus rather than hold the line, repel any who approach, and then advance.

By the same token, if most just say "Screw it" and stay home, the prophecy will come true.  My taxes just went up considerably because the damn fools where I live passed an unneeded (but intensely lobbied for) school bond levy by several hundred votes, while most who were eligible did not lift as finger to stop it and will no doubt be outraged and surprised when they get the bill.

Laurie Roberts is a dedicated left-wing opinion writer at a dedicated left-wing paper. When a left-wing paper tells you what Republican they would prefer be elected (assuming their favorite Democrat fails), it’s your best indication of who NOT to support.

Salmon is a squish candiidate, no different than Flake. NRA members have long memories, and we remember how he “wimped out” after a shooting in a university GFZ by cancelling his appearance at a major NRA event. Salmon is a weathervane, and Kelli Ward has more balls than he does.

Sinema is a train-wreck, a self-avowed socialist and anticapitalist who had her “road to Damascus” moment while orking as a social worker in a poor neighborhood. Here’s what the blinding light told her:

"Firearms - I don't like guns. They kill people. Especially children. As
a school social worker in the Sunnylsope area, I can tell you about the
week in December that three students died from gunshot wounds, all
separate incidents. No one can tell me that guns don't kill people. They
do.

"So, that being said, I support closing the gun show loophole, mandatory
gun safety locks, crime gun tracing practices, sentencing for negligence
of weapons (when kids pick up their guardian's loaded, unattended gun and
shoot themselves or others, which has also happened to a student at my
school), limits on how many firearms a person can own, and retaining ALL
the limits on types of guns that are legal.

"I don't belong to the NRA. I don't even like them. That Eddie Eagle
program about "gun safety" for kids has been proven to actually INCREASE
gun use among children and adolescents.”

David,

A wonderful, worth-reading post.

A constructive suggestion:

Would you consider, instead of "The Media/RINO Alliance"

using "The Media/RINO Axis"

That would seem more appropriate. Your thoughts?
