Missing the Point

So how are small content producers supposed to have their voices heard to help counter mass media lies of omission and commission?

So has it become the conservative, small government position to presume that Google, et al, are utilities, or de facto gubment? Last time I checked only gubment could censor (at the point of a gun). Best I can tell, Google, et al are private property. They might not want conservatives on their playground. Small content producers will have to start their own networks.

You're drawing a conclusion I did not make in this post.

My criticism here is against the attitude being expressed in the screenshot from "conservatives" who say to stay off "social media," which is the most effective means small content producers have to disseminate their voices and ideas.

Three things. One, these posters weren’t condemning all social media, but two well-known liberty-oppressors by name. Two, it’s eminently possible (given sufficient self-control) for consumers to consume social media without providing any. Three, any freedom-motivated media provider whose business model is strongly dependent on the cooperation of anti-freedom publishing channels has a non-viable business model.
