No One Ever Drowned in Roy Moore's Car

It is what it is, isn't it? [More]

I guess the establishment Republicans got their wish and we're another seat closer to Democrats controlling Supreme Court picks. And I guess the fake Faux News poll had its desired effect.

The Dead Elephants could have had the seat and could have then done their Senate inquiry and grilled Moore under oath. If it turned out he had to go, the governor would have appointed another Republican.

It's predictable watching everyone who fears what he represents now ridiculing Steve Bannon as a spent and obsolete force. That his guy did as well as he did, all things considered, tells me otherwise.  Not every candidate he backs will carry Moore's baggage.

The big lesson to take away from yesterday's special election:

"38 percent of the state’s registered voters" bothered to turn out.

Hey, Molon Labe, right?

Just like I thought. All the talk about "the next civil war" will only see single-digit turnout.

How many cowards didn't bother to show up yesterday an vote? 6 out of every 10?

You want to bet on that? The only thing that'll prevent the establishment from doing that is that the media has only so much bandwidth to devote to the scandals of the day. But suppose Bannon is successful in getting his picks for 4 of the 8 seats the GOP is defending in 2018? They could easily do it again.
