The answer is that, if 1.8 million "dreamers" and perhaps millions of their relatives are given American citizenship and the vote, there's a pretty good chance that Texas, Florida, Arizona, and many other states will turn "deep blue" -- probably sooner rather than later. If you have a senator worth approaching, do this.
If you don't, send a message to one who is worth approaching. If you can't do it through the GOA tool, figure out a workaround, like via email or Twitter or some such.
