Well ... duha!

Of course Stand Your Ground laws are likely to increase "homicide" ... a few more of those who need shooting to protect the rest of Society from their violent depredations get LAWFULLY shot. This can only be a short term effect as those shot NEVER reoffend! There has to be a long term benefit and consequent REDUCTION in unlawful homicides - surely?

A woman who posts often to Lew Rockwell that is a Detroit native, I'll let you figure out who (last name rhymes with DeCoster), has posted stats indicating how often the Michigan concealed carry holders use their right of self defense while carrying.

It was something like 2,000% above the national average.

Still, because the group most often involved in violent crime reproduces so often and rapidly, the total number of offenders appears to outstrip the number of them that die each year while committing crimes.

A terrible shame, that is.

I discount anyone who wears a hat or has a public discourse on their genitalia.

Just imagine if a man had a pep talk on his penis or wore a phallic hat to a political protest. You would dismiss him as an imbecile at the least and a pervert more likely. Same goes for the ladies who marched without any purpose except to complain about something, anything. Sigh.

So, I can easily say that the opinions of Wintrow are rubbish without even reviewing them.
