Diamonds are Forever

CitiGroup is spending $100,000 to be a “diamond sponsor” of the ninth annual National Immigrant Integration Conference, a gathering of refugee and immigrant advocacy organizations meeting in Nashville for three days that began on Sunday to plan opposition to President-elect Donald Trump’s refugee and immigration policies. So naturally they want you disarmed.  And ruled.

Are YOU giving aid and comfort to the enemy?

Nope... Wired the entirety of a savings account I had with them to another bank, promptly cashed in my rewards points for gift cards and closed my 22-year long credit card account with them. When asked what made me decide to terminate all my accounts; I told them very specifically, asked them to note the reason on my accounts and also asked them to specifically note that I would be using the gift cards to buy "high capacity magazines".

For those inclined to do the same, they offer Cabelas gift cards through the rewards program...

I've had a Citigroup card because they offer 2% cash back. With their new gun control rules, I will be switching to another card as soon as I can get one.
Fuck you, Citibank. It's a competitive world, and you just decided that you're too fat, dumb and happy to be competitive. I am sure that your competitors are happy about that.
I'm also considering abrogating their right to be paid the balance that I owe them, since they're so glad to be abrogating my right to keep and bear arms. It's a two-way street, isn't it, assholes!
They want to toss out the rule of law, and start making their own laws? Well, we can all revert to a Hobbesian state of nature, can't we, assholes!

I find it funny that when we mobilize voters, that is 'buying elections', but when they drop a crapton of cash, that is 'people power'. Why, it's almost like every day is opposites day for them. I wonder where I've heard that before?

Thank you, David. For keeping up the fight, for keeping us informed, and being an example to those of us still not secure enough to use our real names.

When I buy those new magazines, I think I'll do it in honor of Mr. Vanderboegh and deliver them to some folks that need them more than me.
